Operation TeddyCare: Helping Kids & Critters Can Be Your Legacy

By remembering Operation TeddyCare in your will or living trust, you will be able to reach out and comfort children and critters bearing adversity for many years as part of your legacy. Leaving a bequest to Operation TeddyCare is a way to ensure that traumatized kids and critters will be touched by your kindness and concern for them now and in the future.

A bequest may consist of a specific sum, a percentage of one's estate, or what remains of an estate after gifts to loved ones and legal expenses. Bequests may consist of money, but also securities, real estate, and/or personal property such as valuable art, jewelry, or collectibles (such as antique Teddy Bears).

Here is sample language for various types of bequests. One advantage of a living trust, unlike a will, is that it can become effective immediately upon one's death, which avoids probate and insures privacy in relation to the terms.

Sample Language for Bequests
