1. If you would like to receive FREE Teddy
Bears to give to traumatized children, we ask that you be a credentialed counselor
or a member of a law enforcement, fire, or rescue agency. We work most closely
with members of the organizations below (membership is open to counselors, socialworkers,
therapists, medical professionals and members of rescue, fire and police agencies).
It is important that kids and adults in crisis be appropriately treated. These
organizations are among the oldest and best known in the field of trauma counseling.

Members of these organizations automatically receive free Teddy Bears upon request for their trauma-related work. Just email us.
If no one connected with your organization is a member of one of these groups, we still may be able to help you (with our board's approval.) But our charter requires us to focus on traumatized populations and give first preference to those trauma service providers who have received formal training in the field of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We must ask you to establish in writing how you or your organization received PTSD education and/or training.
