Our programs for critters

Donate through our secure PayPal system. Your donation will go to one of these programs:

1. Emergency vet care, training, and/or boarding

2. Hammer Hounds will fix or build fences for dogs or secure play enclosures for cats. Some shelters will only adopt dogs to homes with fenced yards or to homes for "indoor cats."

3. PIT program helps "America's dog"

4. Supplies program assists with pet food, hay, and other provisions for dogs, cats, and horses in dire need.

You can also make tax-deductible donations payable to Operation TeddyCare. Mark your check "Critters" and we will make sure ALL the money goes to help an animal whose life hangs in the balance.

OTC works only with bonafide rescues and no-kill shelters that we have thoroughly screened.

The needs of kids AND animals are intertwined!

We realized the connection when we got an email from a mother asking for Teddy Bears for her children because they had to give up their pet to a shelter and the kids were heartbroken.

"We couldn't afford to keep her anymore," she wrote of the family pet who had slept with the kids at night. Now the children spent their nights crying, and their mom thought Teddy Bears might help ease the pain.

While a Teddy Bear is healing, OTC decided to first help families keep their pets. A pet is a family member. To a child, losing that family member can be a traumatic memory forever.

"Please consider yourself whisker-licked and kissed by all the furry ones who will not go hungry or homeless because of your generosity." SAFE

"Thank you for the tremendous help you have given to Fuzzy Rescue during our crack-down of the Riverside hoarding case involving Pit Bulls." Fuzzy Rescue

"Please accept my thanks for your support. Together, not only will we save lives, but we will also create a future where every animal will be respected and cherished, and where every individual life will be protected and revered." No Kill Advocacy Center

UPDATE: Animals still need help in Japan

Like everything else we do, this effort for animals is all grass roots. We are all volunteer, pay no salaries, have free warehouse space, and give to others what you donate to us.
